Life at school

Within two to four years (depending on the desired diplomas and professional outlets to be researched), the formation of the photography section offers multi-disciplines, in order to prepare operational practicians in the sectors of filming (reports, advertising, illustration, industry, fashion) and to argentic and numerical.

Admission
Is done after an individual motivation:
· From 10th grade to 11th for the preparation of the Aptitude Professional Certificate, then the professional Baccalaureate;
· From the level Baccalaureate for the preparation of a Professional Certificate of end of Studies (Which does not forbid getting the Professional Certificate of end of Studies).
· From the Baccalaureate for the preparation of Photo BTS (Certificate of Superior Technician).

Teaching Methods
The program of taught disciplines by active professions articulates itself around three components:
· A general teaching, theoretical and artistic;
· A professional teaching which has the objective of guiding students, from their first year, to have a mastery of technical tools and a control of professional equipments at their disposition to perform individual exercises or group realisations;
· Practical works which; with the professional teaching represent 70% of time of presence at school, and fit the application field photography in studio, of reporting, of illustration, of the argentic laboratory and numeric treating.
On the other side, theoretical, technological and practical teachings are specifically devoted to programs of Bac Pro and BTS.

The technical tools necessary for studio shoots, treating films and printing in laboratory are to the disposition of students at opening hours.

Openings
The press, publishing, trade, communication and multimedia offer openings for argentic and numeric in the sectors of reporting, advertising, industry, fashion, illustration, laboratory, of technical salesman, and creative photography.

Internships
EFET favours the practice of internships in companies, because it's the best way for students to make themselves known and fill up an address book -- very useful when finishing school.

Life at school
If the success of the students stems first from the quality of teaching, it is also the result of a mood: its mission doesn't stop to an acquisition of knowledge and competencies, but infers also the maintaining of a state of mind favourable to the will for work, the maintaining of motivations and development of personalities.
The ASA, association of students, participates actively at Open Days, in order to familiarize themselves with their school. It takes care of the organisation of the Annual Forum of Image and Sound Jobs works and benefits from the opportunity to demonstrate to the public the talents and know-how and of the students. It also manages a purchasing cooperative and the good functioning of the junior company, which permits the students to transform themselves in providers and respond to invitations to tender.
It organises study travels, and participates in sporting events, pretext to discover what's behind the visor, other sites of working, from Brittany to the bottoms of the Caribbean seas. Finally, the school invites students to participate to competitions, festivals, and professional shows.
